Terms & Risk Notice

Effective date: 25 May 2026. Last updated: 25 May 2026. This is product and risk information, not legal advice. If you have legal questions about your specific situation, consult a qualified lawyer.

Plain-language summary: Aksel sells a digital pack of instruction and blueprint files (Markdown). It is not a managed service, software installation, support contract, security certification, or compliance service. You are responsible for reading the files, deciding whether to follow or run any instructions, and managing all consequences on your own systems. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under applicable consumer law that cannot legally be excluded.

1. What you buy

When you purchase Aksel, you receive a digital pack of generated Markdown files (the "Blueprint Pack"). These files contain written instructions, configuration suggestions, planning documents, routing recommendations, and workflow playbooks tailored to the answers you provide in the setup questionnaire.

The Blueprint Pack is a digital instruction product. You receive the files digitally upon completing the questionnaire. There is no software installation, no hosted platform, no managed service, and no ongoing relationship beyond delivery of the files.

1a. Your licence to the generated files

The 13 plain-text files Aksel generates are licensed to you for your personal or internal business use. You may edit them freely, copy them into your projects, store them locally, share them with people working with you on the same project, and feed them to AI tools as context.

You may not:

  • Republish the files publicly (for example, post them on a blog, gist, GitHub repo, or social media).
  • Include them in commercial products you sell or distribute (such as a competing "AI setup kit" or template pack).
  • Include them in AI model training datasets, fine-tuning sets, or knowledge bases for resale.
  • Remove the generation ID, licence header, or provenance information from the files.

If you found Aksel-generated files outside the original licensee's setup, they were leaked. We ask you not to redistribute them, and we may take steps to enforce this licence under EU and Danish copyright law.

2. What Aksel is not

Purchasing Aksel does not give you any of the following:

  • A functioning installed AI system — you must implement the instructions yourself or via an agent
  • A managed or hosted service of any kind
  • An ongoing support contract or personal setup assistance
  • A security certification, audit, or compliance sign-off
  • A compliance service or legal assurance for any regulated industry
  • A guarantee that any AI model, tool, API, or third-party service will work as described now or in the future — this includes new models released after purchase (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others), open-source model releases, existing model retirement, renaming, repricing, or behaviour changes, API or terms-of-service changes by any provider, and third-party tooling such as OpenClaw if used alongside the Blueprint Pack
  • Legal advice about your specific setup, workplace policies, data handling obligations, or regulatory requirements
  • Any warranty that your AI environment will behave predictably after you implement the instructions

3. Your responsibility before running anything

You are solely responsible for:

  • Reading and evaluating every instruction in your Blueprint Pack before acting on it
  • Deciding whether a given instruction is appropriate for your machine, data, workplace, and risk tolerance
  • Executing any Terminal commands, scripts, or agent actions — Aksel does not run anything on your behalf
  • Granting permissions to any tool, agent, or process — you control what access you allow
  • Connecting third-party services such as AI model APIs, cloud providers, and automation tools
  • Handling your own data, including backups, local files, secrets, API keys, credentials, and any personal or business-sensitive information
  • Compliance with your employer's policies, workplace IT rules, contractual obligations, and any applicable regulation

The Blueprint Pack includes an install_plan.md and related walkthrough documents. These are written instructions. You decide whether and how to follow them. Aksel is not present when you execute them and has no visibility into or control over your environment.

3a. Customer-directed use

After delivery of the Blueprint Pack, you are solely responsible for every action you choose to take, approve, or cause to be taken. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Prompts and goals you issue to any AI model or coding agent — including the instructions, tasks, and objectives you define
  • Tool permissions and file access you grant to any agent or process
  • Terminal commands and scripts you execute directly or instruct an agent to execute
  • API calls and automations you initiate, approve, or configure
  • Outputs and generated content you produce, use, publish, or act upon
  • Modifications to blueprint files — if you edit, extend, or adapt the files after delivery, those modifications and their consequences are entirely your responsibility
  • Execution in unsupported environments — running blueprint instructions on hardware, operating systems, or configurations outside the stated requirements is done at your own risk
  • Illegal, harmful, or risky use — using an agent or AI system to take actions that are illegal, unethical, harmful to others, in breach of third-party terms of service, or contrary to your employer's policies is your responsibility alone

Aksel does not control, monitor, or have any visibility into your execution environment after delivery. Aksel sells the blueprint — not the actions you take with it. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under mandatory applicable law that cannot legally be excluded.

4. Agentic AI and prompt-injection risks

Important: If you hand any blueprint file to a coding agent (such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any autonomous AI assistant) and ask it to implement the instructions, that agent may read and execute commands, modify files, install software, call APIs, or take other actions on your machine. You are granting the agent that ability. Aksel is not responsible for what the agent does.

Prompt injection is a class of attack where malicious content in a file, web page, API response, email, or any other text the agent reads causes the agent to take unintended actions — including deleting files, leaking secrets, making network calls, or running arbitrary commands. This is a known risk category for all agentic AI systems.

You should be aware that:

  • Aksel cannot guarantee that blueprint files, or any content your agent subsequently reads while implementing them, are free from prompt-injection risk in all future contexts
  • AI models can hallucinate — produce instructions, package names, commands, or file paths that appear valid but are incorrect, harmful, or do not exist
  • Agents that browse the web, read emails, access APIs, or process external content during a run are exposed to prompt-injection vectors outside Aksel's control
  • You should review agent actions before confirming them, especially destructive operations (file deletion, system changes, API calls that incur cost)
  • Running an agent with broad file-system permissions is inherently risky — scope your agent's permissions to what it actually needs

5. Local execution, self-modifying agents, and third-party tools

Aksel's Blueprint Pack may reference third-party tools, packages, model providers, APIs, and services. You understand that:

  • Third-party tools, packages, and dependencies change — a package that works today may be removed, updated, or broken tomorrow
  • AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others) update their APIs, models, pricing, and terms of service independently of Aksel
  • Self-modifying agent behavior — agents that edit their own context files, create new instructions, or modify system configuration — is unpredictable and can have cascading effects on your environment
  • Data you process through cloud AI APIs may be subject to those providers' own terms, data retention policies, and privacy practices — Aksel has no control over this
  • Running local AI models consumes significant CPU, GPU, and disk resources; Aksel is not responsible for hardware degradation, thermal events, or storage exhaustion
  • You are responsible for your own backups and for ensuring your data is protected before running any installation or agent workflow

Model, provider, open-source, and OpenClaw drift

  • New models may be released after purchase by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or other providers and are not automatically covered by the Blueprint Pack.
  • Existing models may be changed, removed, renamed, rate-limited, access-restricted, repriced, or behave differently from the time of purchase.
  • Open-source models, packages, and tools referenced in the Blueprint Pack may be abandoned, removed from distribution, become incompatible with future macOS versions, hardware, or dependencies, or break without warning.
  • OpenClaw, if referenced by the Blueprint Pack or used by the customer, is a separate tool/project outside the purchased Blueprint Pack unless explicitly included in a future Aksel version. Aksel does not warrant that OpenClaw will keep working, remain maintained, remain secure, or remain compatible with any model, API, or macOS version.
  • Aksel has no obligation to monitor the model market, update the Blueprint Pack after delivery, migrate customers to new models or tools, repair OpenClaw or any other third-party tool, or provide support when external tools stop working — except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

Aksel is not responsible for damage caused by execution of instructions, coding agent actions, prompt injection, malicious content encountered during agent runs, model hallucinations, tool misuse, package or dependency changes, API or model updates, model retirement or repricing, open-source tool abandonment, OpenClaw or third-party tool breakage, self-modifying agent behavior, data loss, file deletion, leaked secrets, cloud disclosure, workplace policy violations, regulated-data misuse, or any action taken by third-party services or tools — except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

6. Liability boundary

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Aksel's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Blueprint Pack
  • Aksel is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost revenue, business disruption, or damage to systems or reputation arising from your use or inability to use the Blueprint Pack or any instructions within it
  • The Blueprint Pack is provided "as is" without warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law
  • Aksel does not warrant that the Blueprint Pack is accurate, complete, error-free, up to date, or suitable for your specific environment

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability or right that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights under EU/EEA law or the laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, those rights apply to you regardless of anything stated here.

6a. EU product-liability note

Current Aksel v1 is sold as digital instruction and blueprint files (Markdown documents). It is not executable software, an installer, a hosted AI system, or a digital manufacturing file. No code runs automatically on your machine as a result of purchase.

If future versions of Aksel include executable software, AI systems or models that run automatically, scripts or installers that execute on your machine, or digital manufacturing files, additional obligations may apply under EU product-safety and product-liability law — including the EU AI Act, the EU Product Safety Regulation, and the EU Product Liability Directive as amended. The terms would need to be reviewed and updated before any such version is released.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any product-liability claim or statutory right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable EU law or the laws of your country of residence.

7. EU digital-content and withdrawal notice

If you are purchasing as a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, the following applies:

You have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason, in most circumstances.

Exception for immediate digital supply: Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal may not apply to digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium if:

  • You have given express consent to the supply beginning immediately, and
  • You have acknowledged that your right of withdrawal is lost once supply begins

At checkout, Aksel will present a clear acceptance step asking you to:

  1. Expressly consent to immediate supply of the digital Blueprint Pack
  2. Acknowledge that, by consenting to immediate supply, you understand your withdrawal right may be lost once the files are delivered

This acceptance is required before access is granted. If you do not provide this consent, immediate delivery cannot proceed and you should contact Aksel before completing your purchase.

Nothing here affects your statutory rights under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded, including rights in respect of digital content that does not conform to the contract.

8. Required acceptance before access

Before completing a purchase or being granted access to the Blueprint Pack, including access granted at no charge, you must confirm:

  • You understand Aksel is a digital instruction/blueprint pack, not a managed system or guarantee of outcome
  • You accept responsibility for reviewing and safely executing any commands or agent actions on your own machine
  • You have read these Terms & Risk Notice, including prompt-injection and third-party-tool risks
  • For immediate digital access: you consent to immediate supply and understand your withdrawal right may be affected where applicable
  • You understand that third-party model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others), open-source tools, and separate tools/projects such as OpenClaw may change, be discontinued, be repriced, or stop working after you receive access, and that Aksel has no obligation to update the Blueprint Pack or provide support in those circumstances except where mandatory law requires otherwise

This acceptance is not a legal waiver of rights you cannot waive by law — it is a confirmation that you have understood the nature of what you are buying and the responsibilities it entails.
